Mike Davidson has co-created and posted a nice little technique / framework for coding Javascript widgets that load more incrementally on web pages: How to Keep Widgets from Slowing Down Sites: WEDJE.
Gotta love it when someone works out a technique like this, and then goes through all of the effort to explain it clearly, and makes it all freely available to others. Thanks Mike!
