On our former Juxtaprose site I had a page of “frequently used resources.” I ended up going to that page a lot, as I used the resources pointed to from the links in my work. One of the most used was the “Lorem Ipsum” generator site. For those of you who don’t know, lorem ipsum is dummy text, used in mock-ups and design comps to create more realistic looking text (as far as length of sentences and structure), while not having “real text” there to distract from the designs.
There are many different resources out there on the web that generate lorem ipsum text. Here are two of my favorites:
